Queens make it a Christmas to remember

The Sweet Tea Queens graced the streets of two Christmas parades this year, starting off in Chesnee, SC. Asked to announce the parade's toy drive, BSTQ wore a live microphone and called out to the crowd along the way. In Spartanburg, WSPA-TV stopped the parade to get on the float and talk to the Queens! The weather was as hot as the ladies this year, so no worries of frosty bits as in past years.

Queens spice up King Apple's celebration in Hendersonville
Topping off the full page expos
é of the Boss Queen a few weeks back,  the Sweet Tea Queens arrived en masse to celebrate the King Apple parade on Labor Day through downtown Hendersonville. The weather was picture-perfect as predicted by our WeatherStud Frank (who will be aptly rewarded). BSTQ's friend Holly AKA "Dixie Crystal" rode as a guest, her first time experiencing the mass adoration of the Queens by the entire population of Henderson County, North Carolina.

Gaffney rolls out another great parade

Bigger and better but backwards! That sums up the 2007 Peach Festival parade. The crowds were more jubilant than ever, the weather was fine, BSTQ was wearing her new "Can-Can" style pettipants, and the parade ran in the reverse direction! We loved it, y'all loved it and we can't wait for next year!

Apple Festival's Parade rolls early as
Hendersonville's Times News
features the Boss Sweet Tea Queen in Sunday paper

As an early Apple Festival gift to the fine folks of western North Carolina, the Hendersonville Times News ran an exposé
on BSTQ in their Sunday, July 1 edition. In brash form, the Boss Queens laid out what this Sweet Tea Queens stuff
is all about. All we can tell you is that it's not about yams.

While the Boss Queen can be brash and bold, she can also be sweet as sweet tea. Come experience both sides of the
Queens at this year's King Apple Parade in Hendersonville, NC on Labor Day afternoon.

Holy Cow! The Mighty Moo parade stampedes through Cowpens
The crowds were at record levels and it was like they'd never seen Queens before! The Mighty Moo parade, with a cool overcast morning, streamed through Cowpens with the Queens gathering lots of "Ohh BABY"s and "DANCE, Girl!"s along the way. We welcome new Queen Teana Donna, too!

Queens make St. Pat's In Five Points magically delicious

With a nip in the air making it feel like Ireland, the Queens journeyed down to Columbia for South Carolina's best St. Pat's Day celebration. Twenty-Five years waiting for the arrival of the Sweet Tea Queens, the day-long party kicked off with a top 'o the mornin' parade that snaked down through Five Points. The queens had their lucky charms a shinin' as the crowd loved their premiere appearance.

Teana Sue keeps MardiGras alive

Between bad voodoo and work getting in the way, the only STQ to shine at Skylyn Place's Mardi Gras party this year was Teana Sue. She brought Herbal Tea and consort-in-training Ethan along to party down, and potential Queen Donna showed up all smiley, as well. The celebration was the best yet for Skylyn Place.
